Microfocusing capability at the INE beamlineStatus
GoalsThe goal of this joint research project is to upgrade the INE-Beamline with a microfocusing optic. It can be considered as an extension of a previous joint research project (JRP 01-02), which served to provide the INE-Beamline with optical components for spatially resolved speciation studies. Expected resultsThe upgrade of the INE-Beamline provides Europe with a unique facility for actinide research. It will be the first European spectroscopy beamline that offers both microfocus capabilities and licensing to work with actinides well above the free limit.
