Workshop for Young Researchers in Actinide Science

Terminated - Planned from July 2005 till July 2005

Goals

As an integral part of the international Actinides 2005 conference:

1) to conduct a dedicated ACTINET workshop, based on a proven format, focused on students and young researchers within the network,
2) hold an informal networking event; and
3) highlight ACTINET science within the conference poster sessions;

and through these activities, to promote networking between partner institutions, particularly among younger scientists and next-generation research leaders, and raise awareness of the network’s activities and capabilities in the broader actinide science community.

Expected results

To promote networking between ACTINET partners, particularly among graduate students, younger scientists and potential next-generation research leaders.

To raise awareness of the ACTINET network’s activities and capabilities in the wider
international actinide science community.
