Actinide-XAS is a series of workshops providing a unique opportunity for presentations and discussions on the applications and results from synchrotron-based techniques in radionuclide/actinide sciences.

Ten years after the inaugural workshop, Actinide-XAS-2008 is the 5th Workshop on Speciation, Techniques and Facilities for Radioactive Materials at Synchrotron Light Sources. Scientists involved in this field as well as newcomers are highly encouraged for attending this workshop.
