The microXAS beamline at the Swiss Light Source (SLS) is a microprobe facility optimized for X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) experiments requiring high spatial resolution. It is designed for monochromatic and pink X-ray beams with high flux and energy resolution combined with dynamic (sub-)micron focusing capabilities.
As a special feature, the beamline also allows microXAS measurement of closed radioactive samples with micro-scale resolution.
