Theoretical User Lab
In the same spirit as the pooling of experimental facilities, the model is extended to theoretical expertise for the modelling of systems containing actinides. The objective is to bring the tools and expertise, available in European actinide modelling and simulation together, into a long lasting structure (the Theoretical User Laboratory), and to make them available to the whole European community of actinide scientists, in order to create an environment that will enable each research worker to come to grips with the problems of modelling systems of interest.
The ThUL, as a forum, encourages interactions between experiment and theory by means of common workshops and schools, and aims to enhance the direct interaction of experimentalists and theoreticians. In particular, the ThUL organises a ThUL School “theory for experiments”.
ThUL Questionaire
The Task Group of the Theoretical Userlab would kindly like to ask groups working in computational actinide sciences to answer a few questions in order to improve the services provided by the ThUL. The questionaire including the contact addresses is available in PDF and WORD format for download.
